My New Favorites on Etsy

So by now it seems virtually anyone whose online knows about Etsy. It truly is such a fantastic place to shop! I thought I'd give you some of my recent faves!

First up, Holly Stalder: This store is full of amazing wraps and vintage stylings. I love these 2 items. The dress would be perfect for a rehearsal dinner:

I'm also loving this sterling silver cuff from seller jemimalumey. It's based on a piece of Victorian lace:

Next up is seller Paperhill: I love their vintage feeling ring pillows and papers:

And last but certainly not least, seller KT Jean who creates stunning, chic dresses from vintage slips:

Michelle Warren Photography

Last week I was very happy to receive an email from Michelle Warren! It turns out a wedding she photographed a few months ago at The Chamberlin Ranch in Los Olivos, CA was picked to be featured as a "Real Wedding" in Southern California Bride. From the photos, I can certainly see why. How amazing is the setting? We printed the couples stationery, so there is a lovely shot of our Mexico flat printed invitation! Congrats to Michelle and to the lovely couple, Amanda & Alfonso. Here are some of the stunning photos:

You should also check out Michelle's website and blog. Both are brimming with gorgeous, inspiring photographs!

A Stunning Jamaican Wedding

When we arrived in New Hampshire in early May and I opened my email after a 10 day gap. It took about an hour for everything to load, but after the initial feel of panic that I was soooooo far behind, I was very pleasantly surprised to find a few messages mentioning finding our tiny company via Modern Bride. I got curious, and picked up the most recent copy. It turns out one of the wonderful bride's we worked with in Fall '06 has there wedding featured in the national issue! Congrats to Sherry (aka Mrs. Ant over on wedding Bee) and Derek!

Sherry approached us needing programs. She had a vibrant color scheme of mango, aqua and brown. She also wanted the program based off of the floral print of the traditional chi pao her mother had once worn. She sent us a few photos, and with a little tinkering we were able to print the programs shown below.

Dade and I got married in Jamaica as well, and all of her amazing photos by Tony Yang really do capture the beauty of the location! Everything looks so lush, fresh and fun. It's always a great thing for us when we get to see where our work ends up, and this wedding in particular is one we were proud to be able to be involved with.

Welcome to New England!

I know I haven't updated the blog in months, but believe me it's been on the longest "to do" list I have every had in my life. The move is complete! We are official residents of New Hampshire, and we couldn't be happier here. Our days have been spent printing and shipping orders, and our evenings have been spent unpacking, painting and renovating. Somehow painting molding becomes a lot more fun when it's your molding!

Anyhow... I have a ton of new things to write about, and will hopefully get a few posts together this weekend. Until then.... here are some photos of what we've been doing.
