A Sea Of Chandeliers

Recently I drifted on over to the wonderful Style Me Pretty and found myself drooling over the photos from the wedding of Elizabeth Messina. In particular I got stuck on this image:

The question that immediately came into my head was, "how on earth can I incorporate this setup into my daily life?" So... with a little creative thinking I realized that I am going to need to install some lovely lighting fixtures in our new (actually old) barn which will house White Aisle! Why not cluster a group of chandeliers together and hang from the barn ceiling? I ran it by the husband, and he gave me the green light. Now I'm online window shopping, and I've found some great, inexpensive options.

These are available through Spectrum Home. I purchased a chandelier through them once before. It looks fantastic, but it did require assembly which took hours. Anyhow... you can't beat their pricing.

These are available through Brocade Home. They are a bit more expensive, but slightly more modern.

A Couch Specific Obsession

As you probably know (since I can't shut up about it,) we just bought a house. I try to spend Sundays doing things that are not wedding related, so today my obsessive compulsive disorder is rearing it's insanity in allowing me to fixate on a couch. For the first time in life I'll have an eat-in kitchen. After sorting through all of the photos I've torn out of magazines, I've decided I want to create a comfy intimate space like what is shown here:

So now the hunt is on for the perfect little sofa and chairs. My husband keeps saying, "don't start buying Granny furniture," but I can't help but love some of these French country style cushy seats.

Now it's time to find that chandelier...

New Letterpress Eye Candy

I really should seek medical attention over my ridiculous obsession with all things letterpress... Here are my new babies this week.

White Aisle Stationery + Kate's Paperie!

I may have the flu right now, but it's still a pretty good day. A couple of weeks ago I got a call from Kate's Paperie letting me know that they'd like to begin carrying our stationery line (insert high pitched scream here.) I've had a not so secret crush on Kate's stores for a lot of years now, so this was a pretty big moment for me. Actually, my husband clearly remembers being dragged in there on a trip to NY a few years back and hearing me say, "it's my dream to have our designs here." This weekend our letterpress line hit their shelves and the feedback has been wonderful. Soooooo.... as I'm hacking up a lung I'm visualizing my little boxes of cards in one of the most stylist stores in NY!
